Laying the Cornerstones

If you’re overwhelmed with a remodel and can’t figure out where to begin, Bella Pietra Design recommends finding a tile or countertop style that you love and then designing around it. Your interior and exterior spaces can come together in quick, amazing ways when stonework and surfaces set the tone in colors or patterns that bring you joy.

Bella Pietra Design can help you select elegant and durable tile and stone from exclusive collections curated with Hawai‘i residents in mind.

When you’re designing on a budget, pick smaller areas in your home to splurge on tile and stone that pop. A powder room in a Diamond Head home (above) shows how Artistic Tile’s lilac marble doesn’t require a huge square footage of stone to create a fun design. This collection and other bold Artistic Tile styles available at Bella Pietra Design are also great for statement backsplashes and accent walls.

Natural stone fits Hawai‘i’s indoor-outdoor lifestyles and earthy interiors. Bella Pietra Design now carries Sukabumi by Island Stone, which has a naturally stunning blue-green color (top, featured image). Sukabumi stone comes from Indonesia, is widely used in the country’s swimming pools, and brings a natural, ocean-inspired aesthetic to indoor and outdoor spaces in Hawaiʻi. Additionally, Island Stone’s natural Paragon Chevron Sandstone Dimensional collection (above) is available with a textured appearance that’s versatile inside and out.

Tile and stone are investments that go beyond trends and resale value. Check out Bella Pietra Design and discover your cornerstones for a timeless home update.
